1. God called each of us to shine for Him. He created us. He sustains us. He purposes to use us to reflect His glory. When we focus on Him and follow Him, He will shine through us to accomplish our unique calling.
2. We don’t need to worry about what other people are doing. We get distracted from what God wants us to do when we look to the right or to the left. No need. God wants us to set our gaze on HIM, and He will shine light on our path. He has a mission plan for our lives. He knows where he wants us to go, and He will show us the way. Better than that, He will walk with us!
3. There is room for each one of us to live out the calling that God has placed on our lives. If God has called us to serve Him, He will equip us to do the job well! If He has called us to serve Him, we can serve alongside others that are serving Him, with no competition or animosity.
4. When we call upon the name of Jesus and ask Him to use us, we are calling upon HIM to live His life through us. The world needs more Jesus! The world needs more Christians that are fully devoted to Him! The world needs more hands and feet and mouths that are accomplishing His purposes.
5. Our fellowship with Jesus will change the quality of our life now. We will be a different kind of people. We will be a people who are not competing, but are working together to see His Kingdom come, and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
God will work powerfully through us when we submit ourselves to His leading. Even though we are broken vessels, He will fill us with His Spirit and give us His power to do great things.
When we do these things, we will be light and life and we will bring God’s eternal purposes to earth, now. We will be living eternal life, kingdom life, Jesus-life, here and now.

Thank you Jodi for sharing this beautiful encouragement.
This is really encouraging for me and a reminder that God deals with each of us individually.
It is important to to focus on God rather than compare ourselves with others or try to compete with them.
